The tacos here are so fresh and tasty! I and my husband had the carnitas street tacos, Baja fish tacos, and a chicken tinga taco. The ingredients are so simple but delicious. The carnitas was flavorful and a nice amount for a street taco. The fish was nice and crisp, and the cabbage fresh and crunchy. Our friend had the shrimp burrito and said it was excellent. I would say these are the best authentic tacos in Santa Cruz.
My family and I discovered this spot earlier this year and we love coming here whenever we're in the area. We usually get the Baja Fish and Tinga tacos - both are amazing! They're full of flavor and not "heavy" in any way. This weekend, I decided to try the Grilled Shrimp burrito and it was DELICIOUS. We also love the salsa options, particularly the habanero sauce. The service is quick and efficient and the workers are very friendly...
One of my favorite spots in SC co! This is the perfect spot to "grab and go" when you are in a capitola village. The place is always clean. The food is always high quality and fresh. The staff is friendly and quick. We have ordered catering from this place multiple times also. They have delivered and set up lunches I have coordinated several times and it's always a HUGE hit...
Y'all... this place is SO GOOD. I ordered three tacos, the grilled fish taco and two chorizo tacos. The fish was delicious and perfectly cooked. But those chorizo tacos were BOMB! They mixed potato with the chorizo, which not everyone does, and it's seriously the best! I loved the green salsa on the chorizo and the red medium salsa on the fish. Do yourself a favor and try this place! You won't be disappointed!
Best burrito we've had in awhile! The Mijo Burrito, a perfectly sized tasty morsel consisting of grilled chicken, pinto beans, seasoned rice, grilled jalapeños, habanero salsa, crema and fresh thinly sliced cabbage. If you like spicy, this is a find! Great price, quick service, friendly staff. For the Capitola village in Santa Cruz, the price is right. Do not pass this place up for "trendier" tourist trap options...
